Info Draw: 17

"The weather was milder than a week before in the Whitehouse meeting. But play was interrupted daily by heavy showers of rain. But in the end the finals could be played on saturday with fine weather.
The attendance of spectators was meagre the first three days. But the last two days there was a big crowd.
In the final between the two brothers Lyon the rallies were long, play almost entirely from the back. In the Challenge round Grove injured his ankle and retired."
