George Stadel effectively finished last in the 1904 Olympic singles tournament, as there was only one match in round one, and Stadel lost it to Nathaniel Semple, 6-2, 6-1. Stadel also played doubles in St. Louis, also losing in the first round. Somewhat of a dilettante, he continued to show up in various results from small tournaments over the years, losing in the first round of singles and doubles at the 1916 Middle States Championship and the 1922 Championship of the Bahamas.
