Info 1st edition

he monthly "LAWN TENNIS" wrote in 1930:
"Indoor court in Poznań arranged and run by the board of" A. Z. S. Poznański is the first winter pitch in Poland, perfectly suitable for tennis training and normal games. Decorated for the first time in 1928, it is located in the building belonging to the Poznań Fair, so it is not built specifically for tennis purposes and therefore it does not have all the facilities that winter courts abroad have. In any case, it is perfect for the tennis needs of the winter months. The dimensions of the hall in which it is located are as follows: length 35 m, width 13.80 m, and height 15 m, thus corresponding to a normal tennis court. The only disadvantage is the side runs which are not sufficient for doubles games. Singles can be played as normal. The temperature in the hall is on average 9 degrees Celsius in the winter months, much higher in March. It only falls on days with more frost. Overhead lighting. "
