Info This tournament replaced the French National Championship tournament for 1919, which wasn’t held because a number of the likely competitors had not yet been decommissioned after the end of World War One and would not therefore have been able to take part. The tournament was notable for the participation of a number of American players as well as that of Suzanne Lenglen.
