About

During his short life, Kazimierz Tarlowski was better known as an ice hockey player than as a lawn tennis player. At the former sport he played in goal for “Sokół” Kraków from 1932-34 and for Dąb Katowice from 1936-39. He was also reserve goalkeeper for the Polish national ice hockey team at the Ice Hockey World Championships of 1938, which were held in Prague; in this role he started one match at the tournament. According to several websites, Kazimierz Tarlowski died in Auschwitz concentration camp in 1943.
