Ash, Philip James. Admitted pensioner at Caius, April 19, 1866. Son of Edward John (1815), Rector of Brisley, Norfolk. School, Rugby. Matriculated Michaelmas 1866; B.A. 1870. Master in private schools (Bengeo, Hertfordshire, and at Chester); afterwards schoolmaster at Tenby, Pembrokeshire, and later farming at Ruthin, North Wales. Married and had issue.
