Robert Laurentz was the brother of fellow lawn tennis player William Laurentz. Robert was manager of the daily horseracing paper “Auteuil-Longchamp”. He married Juliette Clotilde Charlotte Cornuche on 3 September 1917 in Paris. They divorced on 11 June 1921.
