About

Was among Top 10 in Czechoslovak national mens tennis singles ranking during many years in 1960s and early 1970s. Won international tournaments in Zell am See 1969 and Klagenfurt 1970. Also member of the Kings cup Czechoslovak team in 1969. His brother Rudolf Tajcnar was ice hockey world champion with Czechoslovakia in 1972.
