About

George Scott-Jackson was one of the sixteen children – six sons and ten daughters – of Dr Daniel Jackson, a medical doctor originally from Scotland, and Helen Jackson (née Johnston), who was also Scottish by birth. George studied medicine at the University of Glasgow and, like his father, also became a medical practitioner.
