Hartmut Bielefeld was a successful textile businessman from Bocholt.During the 1960ies he developed into a middle-class tennis player,ranked
by the Northwestern and Lower Rhine Tennis Associations.He became a more successful player in his senior career: he collected 15 European and
15 German National Championships in singles and doubles and 13 German National Team Championships.From 1998 to 2014 he was coach and organizer
of the Female Tennis Bundesliga team of TC Blau-Weiss Bocholt which managed to win the National German Club Championships in 2001 and 2012-2014.
During this time he was able to enlist players like Kim Clijsters.He also was a well known figure on the tennis scene of the Netherlands.
