Matriculated Michaelmas. 1883; B.A. 1886; LL.B. 1887; M.A. 1890. 2nd Lieutenant, West Yorkshire ArtilleryVolunteers, 1890. Admitted at the Middle Temple, January 20, 1887. Called to the Bar, November 18, 1889. Journalist. Served in the Great War, 1914-19 (Section Sanitaire Anglaise No. 19, 2nd French Army; Verdun; Croix de Guerre). Of Littlewood, Sunningdale, in 1940.
