When Raymond F. Loucks was born on August 24, 1907, in Schenectady, New York, his father, Elmer, was 46 and his mother, Jennie, was 37. He had one daughter with Freda Child Filley in 1945. He died on November 7, 1980, in his hometown at the age of 73. Raymond served as Niskayuna attorney from 1958 to 1967 and as county attorney fron 1968 to 1978. He graduated from the former Schenectady High School, Union College in 1929 and Harvard Law School in 1932. The senior partner of the Loucks and Borckbank law firm. Mr. Loucks began his law career as an attorney in Rochester and returned in 1934 to become a partner with the former state Supreme Court Judge Charles M. Hughes. He was Schenectady County tennis champion in 1931 and captain of the 1928 Union College tennis team. Mr. Loucks was president of Niskayuna School Noard in 1950, president of the Mohawk Golf Club in 1963 and president of the Schenectady County Bar Association in 1959. He was a member of the Schenectady Rotary Club, the YMCA, the Mohawk Golf Club and the Schenectady, NY and Anerican Bar associations. Surviving are his daughter Jane Derrick Loucks Baxter of Pembroke Pines, FL., and his brother, Ellsworth E. Loucks of DeLand, FL
