About

He is a native of Egypt.
He started to play tennis at the age of 5 on clay courts in his home country. His dad also was a tennis trainer. His dad's philosophy was "to keep the game in the family".
He worked at a club in London. Once in 1988, he travelled in Germany when he heard an advertisement on the radio that they were looking for a tennis instructor. He came for an interview and they said: "When would you like to start?" He hadn't even given his job in England. He began teaching tennis to Army families in 1988 at Heidelberg’s Patrick Henry Village, which closed recently when U.S. Army Garrison Baden-Württemberg deactivated.
For 20 years, he has been passing techniques and love of his game to the youths of the Heidelberg community via six weeklong summer tennis camp sessions on the clay courts of the Heidelberg Tennis Center.
