About

Roy C Gotfredson, 42 years old, a native of Green Bay, Wisconsin and a resident of Milwaukee, was found deceased in his Milwaukee apartment, a half empty bottle of sleeping pills on his nightstand. It was reported that although an autopsy failed to determine the cause of death, analyzation of the brain and stomach would follow in hopes of discovering a specific cause.

Roy was the son of Lawrence and Flora (nee Rahr) Gotfredson. He was a World War vet, a sportsman and former state tennis champion as well as a highly successful business man, the president of Gotfredson Investment Co., and Gotfredson Properties, Inc. He was a pilot and owned his own aircraft, and in fact had passed a naval aviation examination only a few days prior to his death. Roy's obituary states that the deceased was unmarried and at the time of his death, and was survived by his mother, a brother, and 3 cousins. (Although not mentioned in his obituary, records indicate he was also survived by his father.)

Brother of Henry.
