Bob McKinley (born 1950) was born in St. Louis where he grew up playing junior tennis. He was a top ranked junior player in the Missouri Valley Section and nationally. He attended Trinity University (1968-1972) where he was an All-American every year. McKinley played the professional tour from 1972-1974. With partner, Dick Stockton, he was nationally ranked No. 2 in men’s doubles and reached the semifinals of the U.S. Open. In 1974 he took the head coaching job at Trinity University. He currently is assistant coach at Texas A&M.
