In 1972 he still was a polish citizen.However, as an ethnic german he was allowed to immigrate to Germany a few years later.In the late seventies he settled
down in Westphalia and served as the chief coach of the Westphalian Tennis Agency until his retirement.I seem to remember that he was Westphalian Indoor Champion twice about 1979/80.He also won the Westphalian Doubles title regularly during this period.He coached future Davis Cup Players like Karsten Braasch,Jens Wöhrmann and Michael Kohlmann during their formative years.In the last few years he played for clubs which managed to win the European and German Club Championships 70+.
