About

Educated at Eton College, Windsor. A career soldier who served in the British Army during the Boer War and World War One. Succeeded as the 2nd Baron Roundway, of Devizes, Wiltshire, in 1925. Married fellow tennis player Blanche Gladys Duddell in 1904. Their only child, Betty (1910-24), died in a tragic accident in their London home while sleepwalking. The Roundway title became extinct on Baron Colston’s death.
