Along with 136 other passengers and crew, Ian Laver was tragically killed when Delta Flight 191 crash-landed on a motorway just short of Dallas/Fort Worth Airport on Friday, 2 August 1985. Ian’s 12-year-old son Richard was one of just 27 survivors of this plane crash.
