About

Paul Le Blan was the brother of fellow lawn tennis player Jérôme Le Blan. Like Jérôme, Paul Le Blan served with the French Army during World War One. Paul became a sub-lieutenant with the 10th Infantry Regiment and was made a Knight of the Legion of Honour. He was killed in action in April 1916 at the age of 22.
