Chisholm Ausley, was the son of Calvin K. Chisholm Ausley and Ella Rebecca Ausley. November 20, 1942 in Monticello, GA he married Ola Little Kelly Ausley who survives. Mr. Ausley was a member of First United Methodist Church where he served as Vice-Chairman of Administrative Board as well as Chairman of Board of Trustees and Finance Committee. He received an AB in Business Administration from Emory University in Atlanta, GA where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity. As a realtor, homebuilder, and land developer, he developed and/or built, Garden Hills Tuxedo, Wimbleton to Boulevard, Colonial Heights Brookwood, Partridge plus Myrtle, Fontaine, Maury, Clair Dr., Country Club Estates Millpond Rd. to Old Monticello, Rd., including Club Drive, Royal Estates Royal-Kings Dr., Wheeling and Dealing lakes, Skyline Drive, Commercial Dr., Business Plaza and Circle, Colonial Village Condominium, 812 S. Broad, Thomasville's first condo, Medical Building, 912 S. Broad, First Doctor Condo and Village Square, 330 N. Broad, First Office condo. He was a member of the Thomasville Area Board of Realtors, which presented him a Life Membership Award as, "Mr. Realtor", Georgia Home Builders Association, Georgia Association of Realtors where he served as a Regional Vice-President, Board of Trustees of C & S Bank of Thomas County. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, where he served as Vice-President and Chairman of many committees, the Salvation Army Board, Flint River Boy Scout Counsel and leader of scout troop, YMCA Board, Kiwanis Club, Thomas County Historical Society, Glen Arven County Club and Thomasville Cultural Center.
