OBITUARY. Funeral of Mr. W. M. Marland.—Mr. William Mansel Marland, of South Parade, who died on Monday, after a brief illness, was interred in the Penzance cemetery on Friday. The funeral was attended by Mr. Bowyer, Mr. Peacock, sen., Mr. Peacock, jun., as chief mourners ; Capt. Beby, sen., Ormsby, jun., Ilbert, Tonkin, T. H. Cornish, Trevithick, and Hill. Thdford, Admiral Borlase, Col. Trelawny, Major Travers, Major Carew, Capt. Ross, the Rev. Mr. Du Sautoy, Messrs. W. H. Borlase, A. C. Gregory, Ormse coffin, made by Messrs. Olver and Son, was of elegant polished oak, with brass furniture, and hidden with a large number of wreaths from the Bolitho family, Mrs. N. Harvey, Mrs. Ross, and the deceased’s relatives. The plate bore the inscription, “ William Mansel Marland, born Oth Nov., 1859 ; died 16th Jan., 1882, aged 22.” The funeral service was performed, in the chapel, by the Rev. A. B. Berry, and at the graveside by the Rev. ??
