Alexander Flinsch was a merchant and head of a global paper trading company. He was also co-organizer of the Whitsun tournament at the Lawn-Tennis-Turnier-Club, aka the Rot-Weiß Club, in Berlin before and after 1907. He was also treasurer of the same club until 1907.
