About

Col Charles W. Oliver (USAF, Ret), graduated at the top of the 1949 class at the US Military Academy at West Point ith a B.S. in Engineering. He served for 30 years in the Air Force earning seven distinguished service decorations including the Legion of Merit and Bronze Star. He was a talented tennis player. He was the number one tennis player in the US from the time he was a freshman in high school until he left West Point. After retiring from the Air Force he served as a tennis professional at the Philadelphia Cricket Club. He was the father of five children, grandfather of 12, and great grandfather of seven.
