About

Roy Taylor, as he was known, attended Prince Alfred College, a private boys’ school in Adelaide, before spending two years studying science at the University of Adelaide. In later life he worked as a businessman. He was also an international lacrosse player and a talented cricketer, but chose lawn tennis over the latter sport.
