About

Although born in Tasmania, Vivian Page lived for some time in New South Wales during the second decade of the twentieth century (circa 1915-20). He then appears to have moved to New Zealand, where he took part in the New Zealand Championships tournament several times in the early 1920s. Later on he returned, probably permanently, to Tasmania, where he won the men’s singles event at the Tasmanian Championships in 1927, 1928 and 1929. A businessman by profession, he was facing bankruptcy in Sydney in 1920, but eventually appears to have recovered financially.
